Your identity check

We collect your name, South African ID number, a live selfie, ID and address documents to verify who is registering a phone line under RICA and our number provider’s requirements. Company applicants also provide registration and representative authority records.

Your selfie and liveness check are biometric special personal information, processed with your consent for identity checks. Records are kept privately for 5 years after your account closes unless the law requires otherwise. We do not sell them. Only authorised reviewers may view them.
