1. Who the assistant takes instructions from
Only from the people and numbers listed by the customer in the onboarding questionnaire ("authorised users"). Messages from anyone else are ignored or, where set up, answered with a polite holding message.
2. What the assistant may do
As set up for the customer: read, sort and draft emails, and send emails only to recipients and in situations the customer has approved; file, rename and retrieve documents in the folders the customer has shared (it does not delete documents); create and manage calendar entries in the connected calendars, sending invitations only if enabled; and send reminders, briefings and follow-ups to authorised users and approved contacts.
3. What the assistant will not do
Make payments, move money, sign contracts or accept legal terms on the customer's behalf; give legal, financial, tax or medical advice (it can summarise the customer's own documents, but decisions stay with the customer); send bulk, marketing or unsolicited messages, or contact people who have not been approved; or share passwords, ID numbers, bank details or other sensitive information by message.
4. The customer must not use the service to
Break any law (including POPIA, the Consumer Protection Act, the Cybercrimes Act and electronic-communications rules), harass anyone, impersonate others, process information they have no right to process, send spam or unsolicited direct marketing, or try to get around the safeguards above.
5. Changes
The customer may ask us to widen or narrow these permissions in writing; changes are logged.
6. Outbound calls and consent
Do not use the assistant for unsolicited marketing to people who have not consented. Do not call outside the days, hours, purposes or other agreed instructions.
